Head coach Dave Clawson’s second year at the helm of the Demon Deacon football team showed a number of tangible results. Wake Forest had the nation’s greatest improvement in both total offense and rushing offense in 2015, improving by 163 percent on the ground and 54 percent in total offense. Tight end Cam Serigne earned honorable mention All-ACC honors after catching 46 passes. The Deacon defense was led by linebacker Brandon Chubb, a first team All-ACC pick who was named the Pop Warner College Football Player of the Year in 2015. Punter Alex Kinal set a number of career records and earned fourth team All-America honors. Mike Weaver’s 47-yard field goal as time expired lifted the Deacons to a thrilling 17-14 win at Army West Point.
