In 2015, the Demon Deacon women's soccer team got off to a strong start before entering a rough stretch. Wake Forest started the year 4-2-2, but finished with a 5-12-2 overall record. Of Wake Forest's 12 losses, 10 came by a single goal, while the other two came by two goals. Maddie Huster and Katie Dry were each voted to the Academic All-District and ACC All-Academic Teams. Sarah Medina led the team with 11 points on four goals and three assists, while Kahla Seymour added eight points on two goals and four assists. Hopes are high for the Deacs after a 5-0-2 spring record, outscoring opponents 10-1, as well as six promising incoming freshmen. Wake Forest returns 10 of the 11 players who recorded points in 2015, as well as the two keepers who split time in goal.
